Hey everyone, looking for some help. So I was testing out a Lenovo Chromebook during the summer to see if it was something I'd like to purchase, turns out I loved it and just recently bought myself the Toshiba Chromebook 2.

Now the issue I've been having is that youtube (html5) videos will just not play at all. Press the play button and nothing happens. Flash videos will play for 11 seconds with no audio and then stop completely. This is something that happened on the Lenovo and it's happening again on TCB2.

I've tried the developer channel, the beta channel and no difference. I've disabled all of my extensions, no change. So has anyone else had this issue where after a cold boot all videos work fine but as soon as you close the lid and leave the Chromebook for a bit and then come back, videos will no longer play until you shutdown and reboot? Currently running the latest beta version.

Thanks for helping if you can.

The first time I saw this video of a car crash during the Jolly Rally Valle d’Aosta 2014, I thought it was a scene from Final Destination. The second time I saw it, I thought it was some amateur fake. I’ve watched it multiple times now and I’m still not sure how the out of control, flipping car managed to avoid hitting people.

Saturday morning American broadcast TV was once animation’s home field. Filling a cereal bowl with artificially colored sugar pebbles and staring at the tube was every kid’s weekend plan. Not any more: For the first time in 50-plus years, you won’t find any animation on broadcast this morning. It’s the end of an era.
