A few weeks ago we confirmed reports that the iPhone 5S motion sensors were embarrassingly off. Some enterprising devs have investigated the problem, and figured out that at its root, it’s indeed a hardware design issue that Apple either overlooked or ignored. The good news is that there’s a fix coming–but not from Apple.

As a kid, my favorite Hot Wheels toy cars were the ones that changed color in cold or hot water. Tons of fun in the bathtub! But eventually, we all grow up and accept the fact that real cars don’t change colors (or jump through waterfalls). Or, you could hang on to those childhood dreams and paint your real car in thermochromic paint–like these crazy gearheads from the UK. Now to find a bathtub it’ll fit in.

Gmail for Android Updates with a Cleaner Conversation View and More
Android: The latest update to Gmail brings a few useful UI improvements, including a cleaner design for conversation view and other design tweaks like bolder checkmarks for multi-message selection. Playing with Your Dogs in Matrix-style Bullet Time Looks So Fun
Slow motion and Matrix-style bullet time was invented for this and this only: dogs. As in playing with dogs and recording them in bullet time with 52 GoPro cameras set up to freeze time. The video itself is already fun (if you have a heart) but the behind the scenes footage is almost just as interesting (if you like cameras).
