An AMD Athlon X2 3250e Dual-Core Processor clocked at 1.5GHz isn’t going to be churning through the next Pixar masterpiece anytime soon, but it might just make for a passable (and certainly cheap) all-in-one PC in HP’s new MS200. HP has paired the chip with 2GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, DVD burner and ATI integrated graphics (which wasn’t running Aero when we spotted this thing) and a fairly low resolution 18.5-inch LCD. The upside is of course the $599 pricetag, but you’ll have to wait until October 22 to buy and behold the glorious visions of Windows 7. PR is after the break.

Lenovo’s getting a little jump on the wave of Windows 7 machines due to hit next month with a multitouch update to the X200 convertible and a new multitouch version of the T400s. The new X200 Tablet is pretty much what you’d expect, bringing some newer, faster Core 2 Duo processors into the mix along with a two-finger capacitive multitouch screen, but we’re a little more intrigued by the multitouch T400s update, since the screen is actually a little nicer and can register up to four fingers. To take advantage of all this new functionality, Lenovo’s bundling in a new app called SimpleTap, which brings up an icon-based control panel for settings like volume, screen brightness, and other system functions, as well as quick app and web bookmark launchers. It’s pretty cool stuff, but it’ll cost you: the multitouch T400s will start at $1,999, while the multitouch X200 will open at $1,729. (There’s also a new X200 outdoor screen option for $1,779.) While one poorly created Spiderman movie seems to be enough to ward people off of the anticipation of a fourth film, I haven’t forgotten how much I loved the first two.

So when I heard this news, I was actually more encouraged that they may learn from the mistakes of part 3 and move on in a positive way for part four. Dunst will be Mary Jane, but they will not focus on a wedding for the two yet. And Morbius, a rumoured villain for the next chapter will NOT be considered.

Kirsten Dunst has been confirmed to return as Peter Parker’s sweetheart in the upcoming Spider-Man 4. However, rumours of wedding bliss for the couple in movie, slated for release on May 6, 2011, have been denied – or at least producer Todd Black maintains that he is unaware of such a plot event.

The film’s producer have also shot down the possibility of Morbius, the Living Vampire as one of the villains in the upcoming film, but have hinted that the main villain “[has] a significant connection to the Big Apple.”

Considering that Spiderman makes New York City his home, pretty much most of his significant rogues have some connection to the Big Apple. There is some speculation in the article that the Kingpin would make sense, but he was always a Daredevil villain first and foremost, and considering Fox still has the Daredevil rights (which include supporting cast like Electra, Bullseye and Kingpin) it is very unlikely that they would be steering toward such a faceoff.

I also like the confirmation that Morbius is not in the film. With so much Vampire-mania going on right now, it would make sense that they would consider him for a front row seat on the bandwagon, but I never cared for Morbius and I think he would make a poor addition to the film cannon.

Spiderman’s villians in the movies thus far have been biological or scientifically enhanced and that paralells his own origins. Even the alien symbiote was scientific in theory and not supernatural. I would prefer they continue with this trend and not cross over into mystical or paranormal characters.

So that being said, who would fit the bill? Connors (The Lizard) was already introduced so that is only a matter of time, and I wouldn’t mind seeing an updated movie version of Vulture. I would also love to see Bruce Campbell take on Mysterio and upgrade himself from cameo whore to actual star, and get some massive actor (not wrestler) to play Scorpion or Rhino.

Just not all in the same film.

Last year, Esquire shot Megan Fox in 3K resolution using the Red One. This year, they’re going to 5K (yes, 5K, meaning you can see her pores) for the Sexiest Woman Alive, using Red’s Epic. Here’s a (low res) taste:

We just showed you how to use Mint to get a handle on your spending, but on the business end of the spectrum, it looks like the personal finance web site has been acquired by Intuit—a company that's made its name with personal finance software like Quicken and TurboTax. On one hand, it's kind of a shame seeing Mint go into the hands of Intuit (we always like a little healthy competition), but on the other hand, people may be much more likely to drop their paranoia and start using Mint now that it’s backed by such a big name in personal finance. Miikka Kiprusoff is already a fan of Brent Sutter.

On Day 1 of training camp, the Calgary Flames goaltender
peered through his mask and watched his new boss direct traffic in the
defensive zone.

A stickler for detail, Sutter stopped the play at the smallest mistake. Everyone, and
he means everyone, must be on the same page.

“I think it’s good to start doing that kind of stuff right
from the start,” said Kiprusoff, who is wearing new pads this year. “Training
camp is not that long, anyway. We have to be ready right when the season
starts.”

This is a new season with a new coach, and Sutter set the
tone in the first very first session by blowing the whistle and correcting
captain Jarome Iginla, of all people.

Superstar or rookie, multi-millionaire or career minor
leaguer — status or reputation means nothing to the new head coach of the
Calgary Flames.

“Before practice, he talked to a group of us and let us know
what to expect,” Iginla said. “We are going over things and if he does stop
(practice) don’t take it personal. We’re all trying to get better here.

“It’s not to embarrass any of us.”

Iginla played on a line with Olli Jokinen and prospect
Mikael Backlund.

The Calgary Flames announced Saturday they have offered Theoren Fleury a tryout as camp gets underway in Alberta.

Hoping to prevent errors like the one made by CFL officials in the disputed match between the Montreal Alouettes and B.C. Lions last week, the league is reportedly looking at changing some of its game rules.

Ouch, sorry friendly neighbors to the North. The Zune HD hits the U.S next week (Sept 15), but Microsoft has now confirmed that it currently has no plans to make it available beyond the States. At least for the moment.

Microsoft told Ars that:

“For the time being the Zune HD device will remain US only. Right now we are focused on deploying an exciting service in the form of Zune Video to 18 markets. We are looking at potential future hardware experiences for these markets, but do not have anything to announce right now.”

So that doesn’t say never, it just looks like they’re focusing on the U.S. first. The original Zune 30GB hit the U.S in November 2006, and it took until June 2008 for it to reach Canada. But given Apple’s ho-hum updates, something tells me that the Zune HD could roll out overseas much quicker than that. [ArsTechnica via Engadget]
