Great article for all the Chromebook users.

Some folks would have you believe that, without an Internet connection, your spiffy new Chromebook only slightly less useful than the box it came in, but that’s simply not true. They may not be able to match a MacBook’s performance, but these lightweight laptops are far from helpless when the connectivity runs dry. Hey everyone, looking for some help. So I was testing out a Lenovo Chromebook during the summer to see if it was something I'd like to purchase, turns out I loved it and just recently bought myself the Toshiba Chromebook 2.

Now the issue I've been having is that youtube (html5) videos will just not play at all. Press the play button and nothing happens. Flash videos will play for 11 seconds with no audio and then stop completely. This is something that happened on the Lenovo and it's happening again on TCB2.

I've tried the developer channel, the beta channel and no difference. I've disabled all of my extensions, no change. So has anyone else had this issue where after a cold boot all videos work fine but as soon as you close the lid and leave the Chromebook for a bit and then come back, videos will no longer play until you shutdown and reboot? Currently running the latest beta version.

Thanks for helping if you can.
