If Blade Runner and I, Robot gave birth to a new movie starring a bald Antonio Banderas, it would look just like Automata, the latest vision of our inevitably dystopian future. That future—or at least the way director Gabe Ibáñez has imagined it—also looks pretty dang awesome. Well, spectacular is probably a better word
Less than two percent of the Hiroshima bomb’s uranium actually detonated
Little Boy, the nuclear bomb that U.S. forces dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima on August 6th, 1945, leveled a two-mile radius of the city, killing an estimated 80,000 people. It was an enormous amount of destruction–and it was caused by less than two percent of the uranium carried by the bomb.

The more and more I watch and read about this story it looks more and more like an excuse and a cover to commit acts of violence and riot. This seems more like a release of anger and hatred towards "the man" and a retaliation against society because so many people have much lower standards of living, are very underprivileged and have no way of changing the way they live.
As the saying goes, "put yourself in my shoes"… I hope I never have to go through what so many people are born into and live through every single day. Just an observation…

If there is such thing as a perfect motorcycle accident, this might be it: a motorcyclist crashes full speed into a car that’s changing lanes. That’s bad. The crash launches his body into a spinning mess in the air. That’s definitely bad. But yet somehow he manages to flip and land standing up on the car’s roof.

There are a lot of hangover myths. No, they are not caused by dehydration, so drinking lots of water with your booze won’t help. And no, they are not caused by blood sugar levels. Scientists do have one hypothesis about what causes them, however — and luckily we have a cure for it.

That's one nasty little worm!
This unsettling creature is called Eunice aphroditois, or colloquially the Bobbit worm. These critters can grow up to three meters long and have pincers capable of slicing its (sometimes larger) prey right in half. Also? It injects a toxin into its prey to make it easier to digest. Yum.

Science: It’s better to cook a frozen steak than a thawed steak
This goes against what most people believe about cooking but America’s Test Kitchen is saying that it’s better to cook a steak that’s frozen than to cook a steak after it’s been thawed out. In side-by-side tests, the frozen steak was “hands down” better tasting than the thawed steak.
