NASA is working on Star Trek healing devices—’it’s not sci-fi anymore’
NASA and Houston-based company GRoK Technologies will work on the development of new “breakthrough products,” noninvasive medical technologies designed to “regenerate bone and muscle tissues.” It really sounds like something out of Star Trek, but “it’s not just sci-fi anymore.”

Finally a 3D CG cartoon movie worth a damn: Chip ‘n Dale, Rescue Rangers
We’ve suffered through two Garfields, three godawful Alvin & the Chipmunks flicks, Yogi Bear, and other horrible 3D CG movie remakes of classic cartoons. But the whole irritating phenomenon may be redeemed by this news that Disney is making a new Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers movie.

The near crash of two tractor-trailers and a snowplow on Highway 11 north of Nipigon, Ont., was captured on a video in one of the tractor-trailers and posted on YouTube, an incident the OPP is now investigating.
